New for the 2022 season, we are offering bulk flowers by the bucket. Whether you’re designing your own wedding flowers, arranging flowers for a birthday party, baby shower or retirement celebration or simply want to play with locally grown seasonal flowers with friends, bulk buckets are a great option. Our DIY bulk flower buckets are well-suited for those who are flexible with their vision and are looking for a natural, cottage garden feel.
Each bucket will contain 60-70 stems of coordinating focal flowers, accent flowers, filler and airy elements - all you need to create beautiful balanced arrangements. Flowers and foliage are chosen by us and represent the best seasonal blooms growing in our fields at the time of your event. One bucket provides enough flowers to fill approximately five quart mason jars.

There are many things to consider before choosing DIY for your event. For example:
There is no straightforward answer to this question due to the many variables including vase size and personal arranging style. One bucket is filled with 60-70 stems (6-7 different bunches) and, in general, provides enough flowers and foliage to create 5 quart or 10 pint sized mason jar arrangements. And remember, it’s always better to over-order as there is always room for more beautiful flowers!
Absolutely! At the time of your inquiry please let us know how many buckets you’d like to order. We recommend picking up your practice buckets no earlier than two weeks before your event. This ensures that the flowers you’re practicing with will be the same flowers you will be designing with for your event.
We are not able to take requests for specific varieties of flowers. We harvest the best and most beautiful blooms from our fields for your event. We appreciate you trusting us with your flowers!
Flowers should be picked up 1-2 days before your event. They will be in clean buckets, fully hydrated and ready to design with.
Flowers should be transported in the backseat of a vehicle and never in the trunk or in the open bed of a pickup truck. Usually three buckets of flowers fit in the backseat of a sedan; more can fit in the back of a SUV. Please make sure you're transporting your flowers in an air-conditioned vehicle. A tarp is useful if you’re worried about splashing water.
Store your flowers in any cool, shaded location. Refrigeration is not necessary. In fact, some varieties do not like to be that cold. Water may have splashed out of the buckets on your way home so be sure to check the water level in your buckets and replenish as necessary. Our flowers are picked specifically for your event and with proper care should last 4-7 days.
You’ll need a cool and shaded area to work in, a garage works great! Arranging with flowers is messy and wet so pick a location that can handle it. Other supplies include clean, sharp floral snips (not scissors), a compost bin (for cut stems and stripped foliage), clean vases (bacteria clogs stems) and fresh water.
