My love for dahlias began back in 2018 when a friend generously gifted me some extra tubers. At the time I knew very little about these beautiful blooms. Over the next five growing seasons, I dug deep into learning how to best grow, divide and store dahlia tubers; learning from my mistakes and making adjustments for the next season.
Dahlias are unsurprisingly taking up more field space and becoming a beautiful niche at the farm. This past season I grew over 50 different varieties totaling 2,000 plants. I am so excited to be offering some of our favorite varieties for you to grow and fall in love with in your own gardens.
All dahlia tubers were grown on our farm in Maine.
All plants are grown in balance with nature without the use of harsh chemicals.
All tubers will arrive in good condition and have at least one visible eye.
Tubers will begin shipping in April 2025 and are prioritized by order date and growing zone. We want to make sure tubers ship when there is no risk of freezing temperatures in your area. Individual orders of $100.00 or more ship FREE via USPS Priority Mail.
A flat fee of $14 is added to each order under $100.00.
You will receive an email notification once your order is on its way.
Free farm pick up will be available in April 2024. Select ‘Pick up at Ferris Farm’ at checkout. You will receive an email outlining pick up dates in the spring.
It is important to inspect your tubers upon arrival and email ferrisfarmflowers@gmail.com within 48 hours if you have any concerns. Please understand that once the tubers are in your hands, Ferris Farm is not responsible for losses due to inadequate storage methods, pests, weather, poor growing conditions or neglect. If we should experience any stock loss between the time you place your order and when your order ships, and cannot fulfill your order, you will be notified via email and refunded.
