on faRm experiences for flower LOVERS
Workshops at the farm are a chance to slow down, spend time with flowers, and spark your creativity. Whether you are arranging a bouquet, painting a dahlia, or learning something new, every gathering is meant to celebrate the season and send you home with fresh inspiration and flowers.
Seasonal Offerings
Throughout the year, we host a rotating series of workshops inspired by the farm and the season.
Favorites have included:
Cut & Create: Harvest blooms from the field and design your own bouquet.
Dahlia U-Pick: A seasonal highlight. Wander the dahlia rows and fill a cup with flowers.
Dahlia Watercolor Brunch: In collaboration with local artists, combining flowers, art, and community.
New workshops are added throughout the season.

Are you getting married and hoping to make your own wedding florals? This fun workshop is for you! Join myself and Katie Hoagland, two professional flower farmer/florists, as we demonstrate techniques and then coach you through the process of making your own pieces.
Each workshop will be two hours, with 45 minutes dedicated to demonstrations, and 75 minutes dedicated to coached, hands-on practice with seasonal, fresh cut flowers grown by Ferris Farm and Blue Flag Farm. Participants will create one ribbon tied bridal/attendant bouquet, one boutonniere, and one 16 oz. centerpiece. All tools, materials, and flowers will be provided. You will leave with the three beautiful floral pieces made by you, as well as the confidence and experience to tackle your own DIY event florals!
